Fiona Lee is an emerging singer-songwriter from Yorkshire with a voice which belies her years. Her songs tell tales of teenage life with both innocent simplicity and an impressively mature observation. Having taught herself to play guitar, she discovered her true voice at a local acoustic night; since then she has been performing her songs at every public opportunity. Having developed her songs by playing regularly at local open mic sessions, she spent the summer of 2016 performing at a number of prestigious festivals, including Humber Street Sesh, Cornucopia and Beverley Folk Festival, and is now gigging regularly around the north of England. Fiona is currently working with producer Chris Miley at Strange Reality Music on her forthcoming first album. Her debut single "Rome" was released in August 2016.
“We’re so impressed with ‘Rome’, we’ve already booked Fiona Lee in for a session. And it’s her first upload. But it’s that good- we just had to!” Alan Raw: BBC Introducing on Radio Humberside
