"Turn It On Again"
Returning to the main stage at Tribfest will be the brilliant Mama, a tribute to Genesis.
It's 45 years since Genesis released their first album 'From Genesis to Revelation' and in 2014, Mama will be performing the ultimate tribute to this great band.
Formed from a number of high calibre bands including Face Value who opened the Sunday at Tribfest 2009 , Mama are dedicated to reproducing the sights and sounds of a high octane contemporary Genesis rock concert with great musicianship and a full light show. The music selection will be ‘all eras’ featuring the classic material from the full history of the band. The band set list comprises Genesis's greatest hits.
The sky will be the limit for this band and you can interact with the band on the new website (which includes a forum) and let them know which of your favourites, obscure or popular you want them to play for you.
Mama contains a host of musicians from Merseyside and Bolton areas. They are led by frontman and lead vocalist John Wilkinson, highly acclaimed for his ability to deliver on the Phil Collins vocal sound of Genesis with power, passion and total precision. On keyboards, the band benefits from the technical wizardry of John Comish. Stunning guitars are provided by Mark Cornish, backed up with the rock solid technical playing of James Cooper on drums and Dave Perry on bass.
So "Follow You Follow Me" to the main stage on Saturday 16th August 2014, 14.30 - 15.30 to catch Mama performing!
