In light of the most recent update given by the government we have decided to bring this announcement forward to avoid any confusion.
It is with very heavy hearts that we write this message. Tribfest 2020 will not be able to take place this year. We have explored lots of options but in order to keep you, the artists, our staff, suppliers and emergency services all safe we will not be able to go ahead with the festival this summer.
Looking forward, Tribfest will now take place on Thursday 19th August (Early Entry) / Friday 20th August – Sunday 22nd August 2021.
We’re pleased to confirm that all tickets bought for this year’s festival will automatically be rolled over to 2021. Don’t worry; the barcodes will be valid for 2021 even though it will say the old date on the ticket. We’d love to see you at next year’s festival, so if you want to attend, no further action is required.
If, for any reason at all, you’re not able to join us for the new dates, you’ll be able to claim a refund on your tickets. We’re working closely with our ticketing partners (Tixel & Eventbrite) and will be in touch with instructions via an email from Tixel on Monday 29th June. As previously mentioned in our past statement we would ask you if possible to retain your tickets to ensure that Tribfest can continue in the coming years.
We have decided to continue the 20% discount offer on all weekend tickets for Tribfest 2021 until midnight on 31st August 2020, as we know that some people have suffered financially due to the pandemic. Simply enter ‘SUMMER20’ in the promotional code box before you pay for your tickets to claim this discount. Please note that there will be no further discounts after this for Tribfest 2021 tickets.
We want to send a huge thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding and messages of support in this difficult time. We promise that we will work our socks off to make 2021 the most amazing Tribfest ever. Tribfest would be nothing without you all and we can’t wait to see you back at Sledmere House in 2021.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to send love and thanks to all the NHS staff and key workers who have been working constantly to help us all navigate this horrible pandemic.
For now, keep safe, keep healthy and look after each other.
Ed & Dempsey
