Residing in Manchester, Emma Taylor and the Wallflowers are a band of interchanging featured musicians, collaborating with singer-songwriter and frontwoman, Emma Taylor. Elevating the delicately intimate lyricism and bewitching tone of the singer-songwriter's voice, the Wallflowers breathe life into Emma's writing and performance.

Hailing from Blackpool, Emma began performing as a solo artist in 2019 until arriving in Manchester and becoming enthralled in the bustling music scene. She became enchanted by the musicians she had met and their unique style and attitude they brought to their music. This experience inspired her to form Emma Taylor and the Wallflowers, a band of collective musicians from all walks of life, creating a new sound to the singer-songwriter genre.

Since forming, the band have taken legendary Manchester venues such as the main stage of Band on the Wall and Night and Day Cafe, captivating the audience with their storytelling music and have been invited back on numerous occasions.

Their music is inspired lyrically by Phoebe Bridgers, Matilda Mann and Holly Humberstone, and draws upon musical influences of Fleetwood Mac.

As regularly featured artists on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, their debut single ‘Fade’ is heart wrenchingly beautiful, with Emma’s delicate emotional voice bound to melt your heart with such deeply honest lyrics. After the success of their single, the band were invited into BBC Radio Lancashire to perform a live session of Fade and preview an upcoming release.

Emma has become a force in the Manchester music scene, bringing together fellow singer songwriters in her unmissable events The Candlelit Sessions with George David Webster and Before Sunset at Band on the Wall.
