Hans Umlaut

Hans Umlaut has been willfully baffling audiences for about the last three years. Playing gigs across the Yorkshire coast chiefly in Hull and Scarborough but is based in Bridlington where he hosts a monthly original music night called ‘Burning Down The House’. Influenced by the electro clash sound of Soulwax, the relentless rhythms of LCD Soundsystem and the pop sensibilities of Carly Rae Jepsen, Hans Umlaut’s one man show is a high energy, spoken word rappp celebration of life and critique of modern day consumerism not easily defined by genre. Mixing house music, hip hop, electroclash and pop, Hans Umlaut is one of a kind and not to be missed. This is a show worth getting out for the early afternoon!
